LEOKADIA GLOGOWSKI

North Tower

Leokadia Glogowski was born in Poland.
She immigrated to the United States in 1989 with her husband and their small child.
In 1994, Leokadia graduated from City College with a degree in Civil Engineering. That same year she accepted a job offer at the WTC – North Tower.


On September 11, 2001, Leokadia was in her office on the 82nd floor when the plane hit her tower. Leokadia is convinced that she was given a second chance in her life on that day and that she got that chance from God!
Leokadia has remained with the same company she worked for when the 9/11 attack happened.


Starting in 2007, Leokadia has been volunteering at the 9/11 Tribute Museum.  For over 12 years now, she has been a WTC tour guide for tourists from all over the world. The main and most important part of these tours is sharing the 9/11 testimony. Leokadia tells people from all over the globe about her escape from the 82nd floor and what God did on September 11 in her life, about the second chance that she received...

 

GORDON HUIE

"Triple Connection"

 

Gordon Huie served in the US army as a combat medic in the Pacific Theater.  He also served in the US Air Force as a medical officer in Desert Shield/Storm. 

 

Presently he works in private practice doing orthopaedic surgery.  He is a survivor of Tower Two.  He has been the keynote speaker at numerous college and university graduations on the topic "Just an American during times of Calamities." 

He loves God and his country very much and looks forward to being able to share his story at the National Fall Sing, Remembering 9/11 Commemoration at Carnegie Hall.

TONY ROSE

Pentagon

On 9/11/2001, Sergeant Major Tony
Rose
was in his Pentagon second floor office when American Airlines flight 77 slammed into the building at over 400
miles per hour. The plane exploded directly under his office. Twenty-nine fellow soldiers, civilian employees, and
friends perished around him. SGM
Rose speaks with tones of reverence, sprinkled with humor, as he helps audiences understand the horrors, miracles, hope, and heroes deep inside the Pentagon that day. The key to his survival is not what you would expect to

hear.

 

SGM Rose received the Army

Soldier’s Medal for Heroism for reentering the burning building five times to save lives and the Purple Heart for personal injuries incurred. SGM Rose’s
numerous awards and decorations
include Israel’s Mighty Man of Valor Award and the American Yellow Ribbon of Freedom Award. He served in the Army over 31 years.

 

He and Beverly Rose have been married for 43 years and live in Elizabethtown, KY. Beverly is also an Army veteran (don’t tell anyone that she used to be Tony’s boss). Their energetic and infectious love for the United States, our Constitution, and Old Glory reminds everyone why “Freedom Is Not Free!”

STANLEY PRAIMNATH

World Trade Center South Tower

 

Stanley Praimnath emigrated from
Guyana in 1982 to reside permanently in the U.S. New York became his home. He worked as a shipping clerk then traded his job for a more lucrative position

as a banker; he currently works in mid-town Manhattan for a Japanese bank.

 

Mr. Praimnath submitted his life to the Lord on Good Friday 30 years ago. He has experienced the miraculous, life-saving touch of the Lord, having survived the 1993 bombing and 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center. He is married to Jennifer and has two daughters, Stephanie (married) and Caitlin (in college). They reside in
Valley Stream, New York. Mr.
Praimnath is a motivational speaker, co-author of Plucked from the Fire, and the men’s group leader at Bethel AOG Church where he currently serves as an associate pastor.
